Calling all knitters. When we take the mobile outreach trailer to community events, we give out knitted angels, hearts or sheep made by church members. We give away hundreds of them and would appreciate the help of anyone who would like to help knit them for us (Please ask Julia if you would like patterns). We attach a small gift tag from the Methodist church and a prayer or Bible verse, and they are always extremely well received.
Online Church. Our Superintendent minister, Richard Hall has developed a new resource for worship. The web address is https://onlinechapel.uk. This provides a simple online service each week (hymns, prayers, readings, reflection) which can be used for Sunday worship, pastoral visitors, house groups etc. Further information from Rev Hall (email: superintendent2803@gmail.com)
Facebook. You can follow us on Facebook “Ellesmere Methodist Church“, “Shropshire and Marches” and for the mobile outreach trailer “Memo Shropshire”.
If anyone has any items to add to these notices, please contact Ruthie (email: alukundo@gmail.com) who will happily include them.
Please pass on the content of these notices to anyone who may be interested or who is unable to attend church.
Please note: These notices are emailed to Heather Shepherd, Gill Cartwright and Christine Howard for their churches who will then distribute them among their members. Ruthie will email Ellesmere members who have this facility, and only make printed copies for others, unless requested.
