This week’s communion service will be led by Rev. Julia Skitt. There will be refreshments after the service.
Last week’s collection amounted to £155.
Next week at 11:00 am, all the northern end churches will join the usual service at Ellesmere to receive donations made via the Easter Offerings envelopes. We will also hear about the work of Methodist Women in Britain and the people and organisations they help. The service will be led by Rev. Julia Skitt and followed by refreshments. There is limited parking at the church but is available at the doctors’ surgery next door, at the Comrades Club and town car parks (change required for meters).
Please note: Forest Church working party will NOT meet at Welsh End today due to the joint service at Ellesmere.

Other Notices
Mere Edge Churches. Because each church has to comprise a minimum of 12 members, and Welshampton, Lee Bridges and Chapel Lane do not, it was agreed by these churches and Ellesmere to combine into one church council which we have called Mere’s Edge, but the chapels still go by their original names. Ruthie will therefore be preparing these notices for the Mere Edge Churches, not just Ellesmere. Contacts for these are Gill Cartwright (Welshampton), Christine Howard (Lee Bridges) and Heather Shepherd (Chapel Lane). These people will send information to Ruthie for inclusion in the notices and she will then email them back for them to print for their members. Ruthie intends to begin this at the beginning of June.
Welshampton coffee morning. Gill Cartwright thanks all who attended the coffee morning yesterday. The amazing total raised was £756.86 for Blood Cancer UK.
Facebook. You can follow us on Facebook “Ellesmere Methodist Church“, “Shropshire and Marches” and for the mobile outreach trailer “Memo Shropshire”.
If anyone has any items to add to these notices, please contact Ruthie (email: alukundo@gmail.com) who will happily include them.
Please pass on the content of these notices to anyone who may be interested or who is unable to attend church.
Please note: These notices are emailed to those who have this facility, printed copies will only be provided for others, unless requested.
