SUNDAY 22nd DECEMBER
This week’s Carol service will be at Lee Bridges at 6.30 pm.
The collection on 8th December was £71. A donation of £250 was received from the Tuesday ‘Mothers & Toddlers’ group, and we are grateful to Tony Williams who donated £114 from the sale of wood carvings at St. Mary’s craft fair. Both these donations go towards the church’s heating and lighting fund.
Next week’s service at Ellesmere will be our own arrangement.
This Week’s Notices
Monday 23rd December at 6 pm. Meditations with Carys Woodley. These are for Christians and those of other or no faith. These meditations are valued times of pause and peace. The meditations are based on bible readings, no knowledge of the Bible is needed you will be led into the meditation and guided into how to spend the time of reflection. These are the Zoom details for the group, which will be the same for the ‘last Monday of the month & advent meditations.

Tuesday 24th December at 6.30 pm Welshampton are holding a short service of carols and readings to celebrate Christmas Eve, plus refreshments. They wish a very happy Christmas from them all at the Methodist church.
Tuesday 24th December 11.30 pm Christmas Eve service at Ellesmere led by Rev Julia Skitt – always well-received by members of northern end churches. This is instead of a Christmas Day service.
