Saturday 28th June at 7:00 pm An Evening Concert by the Orthopaedic Male Voice Choir and St Martin’s School Choir at St. Martin’s School. Tickets £10 (donation for under 16s). Proceeds in aid of St Martin’s Methodist Church. See poster in lounge.
Saturday 12th July 10:00 am – noon. Coffee morning at Welshampton Parish Hall supporting Severn Hospice.

Saturday 9th August at 2:00 pm at Ellesmere “Simply Celebrate” A light, accessible service of relaxed worship and activity followed by refreshments welcoming people with limited ability and their carers. Saturday 30th August A service for the joining of the two Districts (our own Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury with Birmingham Districts) will be held at Walsall Central Hall due to their merger on 1st September. There is a new website for the West Midlands Methodist District https://www.wmmethodists.org.uk The site allows you to sign up for notifications and half-hour communication zooms.
Other Notices
Ordination Ceremony. This year’s ordination of new ministers is being held in Shrewsbury on 29th June. Dilys Jones is coordinating provision of refreshments and is looking for volunteers to bake cakes. Please contact Dilys on dilys.jones42@gmail.com if you are able to help (to discuss flavours, numbers, delivery etc.).
Welshampton coffee morning last Saturday raised £450 for the Nightingale Hospice. Gill Cartwright and friends from the church and Welshampton community thank all those who supported them to raise such an incredible sum.
Online Church. Our Superintendent minister, Richard Hall has been developing a new resource for worship. The web address is https://onlinechapel.uk. This provides a simple online service each week (hymns, prayers, readings, reflection) which can be used for Sunday worship, pastoral visitors, house groups etc. Further information from Rev Hall (superintendent2803@gmail.com)
