Other Notices
Our Church Family Please keep in your prayers those of our church family who have been ill recently, as well as others who are ill or troubled whose problems may or may not be known to us.
Please contact Ruthie for any special birthdays, anniversaries or other events affecting anyone in our Church family for inclusion in the notices. If you have any other information that you would like included, please email Ruthie (alukundo@gmail.com), who will happily oblige.
Welshampton coffee morning yesterday raised £401 for the charity “Suicide Prevention”.
Parents & Toddlers (including babies). Two hours on a Tuesday morning, mothers can bring their toddlers to the schoolroom for the children to play and have a snack, and for mothers to meet each other and have a hot drink. This is our church’s outreach into the community, and apparently is the only such group in Ellesmere, so serves an important function. The group has finished for the summer but begins again in September. If you are able to offer a couple of hours to help, maybe only once a month, it would be greatly appreciated. Please speak to Gill Cartwright.
Ellesmere Carnival on 22nd August. The MeMO trailer will be there, and this will be Lay Worker Kirsty Barrett’s first outing with the trailer. Your support would be appreciated; come and sit and chat to people in the community, help children with crafts, and you can come and meet Kirsty too!
Facebook. You can follow us on Facebook: “Ellesmere Methodist Church“, “Shropshire and Marches” and for the mobile outreach trailer “Memo Shropshire”.
Please inform others of the content of these notices if they are not able to attend church.
If you have information that you would like included in the notices, please email Ruthie (alukundo@gmail.com), who will happily oblige.
