Saturday 16th November 10 am – noon. Welshampton Parish Hall coffee morning to support Brain Tumour Research. £2 entry and refreshment. Raffle and ‘Bring & Buy’ table.
Saturday, November 16th at 2 pm. Forest Church meeting by the ice cream kiosk by the mere and boathouse. Theme will be ‘Water’ with Deacon Carys.

Church cleaning. Many thanks to Carol and Ken King who cleaned the church this weekend.
Difficult Questions For the next few weeks we will be studying the film “The King’s Speech”. We meet at Ruthie’s on the third Friday of the month. The next date is 13th Dec. It is an informal group, we all found that studying the last film (about Stephen Hawking’s life) was very fruitful and inspiring. Please contact Julia if you would like to join us.
Christmas cards. Ruthie has this year’s Christmas cards for sale in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK. Normally £4.50 for a pack of 10 if bought on the internet, we can sell for £3.99! They will be available to buy when we meet for refreshments following the morning services.
Shoebox Appeal Please would you consider again this year offering a Christmas shoebox for young people. Julia & Ruthie have leaflets and labels if needed – please ask if you would like any. There is an option to send £20 via the website (https://teams4u.com/shoebox-resources/) if it would be difficult to collect items and a shoebox will be packed for you. This website also has many resources and videos.

Coffee Morning at Ellesmere We had a well-supported coffee morning yesterday and raised £230.10, which was an excellent result. Thank you everyone who donated, helped to run and who came in support.

I will be leading an Advent Meditation, please share this information with your churches and beyond. These dates 25th November, 2nd December, 9th December, 16th December & 23rd December. All at 6 pm. People are welcome to come to one or several Mondays. These meditations are valued times of pause and peace. The meditations are based on bible readings, no knowledge of the Bible is needed you will be led into the meditation and guided into how to spend the time of reflection. This is the Zoom details for the group, this will be the same for the ‘last Monday of the month & advent meditations.
