Saturday 22nd August The MeMO trailer will be at Ellesmere Carnival and your support would be welcomed. This will be Lay Worker, Kirsty Barrett’s first outing so you could come and meet her. If you would like to volunteer, she needs to know that you have had safeguard training, as required by the Methodist church. For further information on this please contact Kirsty.

Other Notice
The coffee Morning at Welshampton yesterday raised £460 for Macmillan Cancer Care. Thanks are given for all who supported this effort. The next coffee morning is on 12th September when the support will be for Parkinsons Disease.
Our Church Family Please keep in your prayers those of our church family who have been ill recently, as well as others who are ill or troubled whose problems may or may not be known to us.
“The Vine”. The Circuit subscribes annually to this publication which is emailed to those who have requested it on a weekly basis. It provides useful resources to those preparing services and for anyone who appreciates guidance in their private devotions. If you wish to be added to the email list, please advise David Eccleshall on dee.smcircuit@gmail.com.

Parents & Toddlers (including babies). For two hours on a Tuesday morning mothers can bring their toddlers to the schoolroom for the children to play and have a snack, and for mothers to meet each other and have a hot drink. This is our church’s outreach into the community, and apparently is the only such group in Ellesmere so serves an important function. The group has finished for the summer but begins again in September. If you are able to offer a couple of hours to help, maybe only once a month, it would be greatly appreciated. Please speak to Gill Cartwright.
