Mothers & Toddlers. Mothers bring their toddlers on Tuesday mornings to play in the schoolroom. If anyone would like to help the current volunteers please, they would be grateful. It would involve a commitment of only once per month, from 8.45 – 11.00am, serving hot drinks and tidying up afterwards. Please speak to Julia.
Church Cleaning Currently this is being done by Rev. Julia and Andy Skitt, due to the loss of the few regular volunteers who normally give their time. As a church, we are grateful to them and anyone who helps in this way but we do need offers of help to lessen the burden on our minister. Please consider if you could just do something even if it is only once per month. Thank you.
Coffee Morning at Welshampton. The Welshampton Methodists and Ruthie and her colleagues of the Shropshire Fund-raising group for Alzheimer’s Research UK would like to thank all those who attended yesterday, and who brought and bought cakes, bric-a-brac and raffle items. A wonderful amount of £510 was raised, ALL of which goes to the charity.
Marjorie Pugh We send our heartfelt condolences to our friend Marjorie, whose son passed away this week. She is currently staying with the family in South Wales.
