Lee Bridges at 6:00 pm at Chapel Lane
Welshampton at 9:30 am at Bettisfield led by Rev. J. Skitt

Next week’s Services:
All Mere’s Edge churches meet together at Wem at 11:0a m when the District Chair, Rachel Deigh, is with us. The service will be followed by sandwiches and cake to allow everyone to meet Rachel and share fellowship together. Rev. Julia says given that we are currently planning stationing for the northern end of the circuit, she would like Rachel to see the strengths of our chapels and to demonstrate the value of our rural communities. The attendance of everyone who is able will be greatly appreciated, please offer lifts to anyone who might need this.

Saturday 11th October 10:00 – Noon Coffee morning at Welshampton Parish Hall in support of Lyneal-cum-Colemere WI who are raising funds for a new defibrillator at Colemere.

Saturday, 11th October at 11:00 am at Minsterley Methodist Church. All are invited to a Harvest singalong followed by a light lunch. Collection will be for the local food bank and you are welcome to bring items along.

Other Notices
Difficult Questions This group meets once a month, usually at Ruthie’s. Beginning in November, we will start by watching the 2019 film “Sorry We Missed You”, written by Pail Laverty and directed by Ken Loach. Further sessions will be discussing points brought up by the film. Everyone is welcome, it is a small and informal group with good coffee! Try us!
Forest Church This is held on the 3rd Saturday of the month led by Deacon Carys Woodley. Future dates are: November 15th at Lee Bridges Methodist church. Theme: “Surrounded by fields”.
20th December at Birch Meadow Welsh End Methodist. Theme: “Fire & Dark”
Online Church. Our Superintendent minister, Richard Hall has developed a new resource for worship. The web address is https://onlinechapel.uk. This provides a simple online service each week (hymns, prayers, readings, reflection) which can be used for Sunday worship, pastoral visitors, house groups etc. Further information from Rev Hall (email: superintendent2803@gmail.com)
