This week’s service will be our own arrangement. There will be refreshments after the service.
Last week’s collection amounted to £432.41 which included contributions from the baptism party and gifts to commemorate the chapel anniversary last week.
Next week’s service at 2.30 pm will be at Lee Bridges for their Chapel Anniversary and will be led by Sarah Crockett.

Tuesday 16th July 2.30 pm Afternoon tea at Ellesmere Methodist Church. Rev. Richard Hall, Superintendent, will talk about his visit to Rwanda earlier this year, followed by a cream tea. Donations towards the Komera/Rwanda Partnership.

Friday 26th July at 9.30 am “Difficult Questions” at Ruthie’s. An informal group currently discussing clips from the film “A Theory of Everything” based on the life of Stephen Hawking. Everyone welcome – please contact Julia or Ruthie for further information.
Saturday 27th July 10 am – noon Coffee morning at Welshampton Parish Hall by Welshampton Methodists in support of Motor Neurone Disease.

Other Notices
Sue Preston, Circuit Administrator, has sadly reported the recent death of Ray Finnigan, formerly a Local Preacher. His funeral is on Monday, 5th August at 1 pm at Emmanuel, followed by cremation at 2.30 pm.
Mobile Outreach. Look out for our trailer at local carnivals/events and check out our facebook page.
Church Cleaning. A rota is being prepared whereby two people each weekend will clean the church and schoolroom. With thanks to Christine Howard and Kath Reeves who volunteered for this task this present weekend, and to all those who have agreed to help. If anyone else would be willing to join the rota, they would be welcomed of course! Please contact Ruthie.
